Class Policies

• Be respectful to your teacher and classmates at all times.
• Seats will be assigned. Please sit in your assigned seat each day.
• Come to class with all your materials.
• Find two classmates to be your homework buddies. Call a homework buddy any time you are absent to find out what you have missed.
• If you need to use the bathroom or sharpen your pencil please do so during the first few minutes of class.
• Ask permission in Chinese to use the bathroom or get a drink of water.
• You are still responsible for the work you miss if you have music sectionals. Find out from a classmate what the assignments are.
  

• Grades will be based on the following:

• classwork (oral participation, homework preparation, attentive listening and showing respect for others).
  
• quizzes
  
• unit tests
